Beer smooths the way for you to sell your goods, so there almost always has to be beer available before you can sell. In addition to building the normal coal and iron industries, there is also the beer industry. If the market doesn’t want it, you can’t sell it. The fact you can replace opponent tiles with yours if the general supply is empty that’s friken genius and makes a lot of sense ,the ppl need iron or coals but it’s very expansive kill the old factory and bring us the new ones.Īnd another interesting desgin that the game advice you not to spent a lot of money so you could be the 1st player on your next only when you going for the big kill. I feel like 4p game would take ages but it’s gonna be whole lot different than 2 or even 3p for just one single rule. In 2p game I feel like the game of chess where you trying to understand when your opponent going to make the big sell combo (in which you need beer to consume in order to sell a lot of factories ),but it took us 3 hours just to finish the game and tbh we were exhausted from processing and trying to do stuff that would not benefit the other player.
It was an amazing experience building connections ,selling manufacturers,consume iron/coals etc ,there is just a lot of stuff to do and you don’t even know how to begin ,but as you cruise along with canals or trains the picture of your objective is becoming more clear “oh yes I know what I need to do to win”.
I played it with my friend who is big fan of wild lands designed by the same guy MW,thrilled to play BB but he knew before hand it’s gonna be a lot heavier.
TL DR : it’s an amazing game but setup takes awhile along with the rules getting time to fully understand.
